Momaba began in our family home in St. Albans Queens. My wifes mom Barbara Which also was my own mothers name started Maba Creations, for Ma Barbara. The painted sisters artwork were created for her 3 beautiful tall daughters.The distinctive Momaba inspirations have been transcribed on to tee shirts, tote bags, hats, and sweatshirts. The Maba creations art has been taught and handed down to the next generation. My mother in law taught my wife and I the artful maba creations business of which we added our sur-name Morris which now reads (Mo)Maba.
The art is different and noticable. We at Momaba look forward to us all growing together as love being our cornerstone.
My mother inlaw taught me to create ethnocentric african and native american art. Our goal is to keep it going. As we grow we will be initiating numerous give backs to our faithful customers and society as a whole.
